Student Piano Recitals
I offer two student recitals every year – Fall and Spring. Recital are held at a lovely church in Chester Springs, PA.
Performing for peers, family and friends is important because it gives students an opportunity to be acknowledged for their hard work. Although participation is not required, I highly encourage it. Student will choose one or more pieces to perform. I will help them prepare several weeks in advance so that they are confident and ready for playing in front of an audience.
MY RECITALS ARE CASUAL AND FUN. Each student generally performs a piano solo, but we've also had the extra excitement of students performing piano duets, their own piano compositions. Some students have even performed with their parents! Each performer receives a small trophy for having the courage to participate.
At the spring recital I award the prestigious STUDENT OF THE YEAR certificate to the student who really worked extra hard throughout the year. and who displays their love of playing every week.
