Student Piano Recitals – NOW OFFERING VIRTUAL RECITALS!

Our first ever, Virtual Spring Recital, 2020 was an enormous success!
Pre-corded videos from over 40 students of all levels and ages were presented on a special YouTube channel.
Whether Virtual or Live performances...
I believe that performing for our peers, family and friends is important because it gives students an opportunity to be acknowledged for their hard work. Of course, this can be a very stressful experience. In order to ensure a positive outcome, I work with my students many weeks prior to the recital preparing a piece that they've chosen to play and is within their capabilities. These two points are important because it is very hard to be enthusiastic if you're forced to play a piece you dislike or that is simply too difficult.
I'll also prepare them for almost everything they'll encounter before, during and after their performance. This is their time to shine and to be proud of themselves because it takes a lot of courage to perform to an audience!
The recitals are a combined effort between myself and colleague Angie Schmitz. Angie has taught hundreds of students for over 15 years in the Chester County and Berks County areas, and previously in New York.
Although participation is not required, we highly encourage it.
