Recitals are an exciting time for my students. Although participation is NOT required, I highly encourage it.
Recitals are held at a local church in Chester Springs, PA. My recitals are casual and fun. Each student generally performs a piano solo, but we've also had the extra excitement of students performing piano duets, their own piano compositions. Some students have even performed with their parents! Each performer receives a small trophy for having the courage to participate. At the spring recital I award the prestigious Student of The Year certificate to the student who really worked extra hard throughout the year. More details. Vertical Divider

This is an annual event for students of any level. I will invite only my most dedicated students to participate. It is an opportunity for a student to perform for an independent judge in a very formal environment.
The National Guild of Piano Teachers is a prestigious organization within the American College of Musicians that has been offering student certification in the United States for more than 90 years. More details. Composition Summer Program
Every summer we take a break from our lesson routine to explore the world of composing. My students love this time of year!
At the end of the summer, they will have written at least one composition that they're proud of which is published along with other student's pieces. More details. |
