Piano Guild Auditions

The National Guild of Piano Teachers is a members-only organization created by the American College of Musicians which promotes piano excellence through it's many educational programs. Most notable is the annual Piano Guild Auditions which are held at hundreds of locations throughout the United States each spring.

What is the Piano Guild Audition?

This event is not a competition. It is an opportunity for a student to give a one-on-one performance for an independent judge who provides them with constructive feedback to help the student achieve piano excellence.

Who may perform?

​I will only invite students to participate who consistently display to me their commitment toward becoming a skilled pianist.

​Participation is entirely voluntary. I will not pressure any of my students to participate. Some students are highly motivated by this event. Others prefer not to participate and I'm ok with that. 

Entry Application

As a guild member, I will facilitate the application process for students and pay the initial fees. All associating fees will be added to the next month's tuition.

Evaluation and Certificates

Each student will receive a formal certificate of completion from the judge, a performance evaluation (report card) and a collectible pin.
